Youth Development League

 SOLECH ACADEMY has created seasonal grass root youth football development league for youth players from various national and international schools in and around Kampala. The youth development league aims at providing opportunities for boys and girls to converge together and compete, explore, share experiences, enjoy fun and display their talents amongst themselves as they learn and grow in a safe environment.

This first Edition of the League kicked off in July and ended on the 3^rd December 2022 after twenty rounds of eighty matches played in total with five teams; United F.C, Man City Young Legends, SOLECH Warriors, Vikas International School and SOLECH Legends. Each team had four matches guaranteed at every round. This explains the uniqueness of the league, which provides equal and ample playing time for every team and player, leading to greater improvement in their talents and skills. Besides, the young players have fun and meet new friends, improve their physical fitness, enjoy the journey of improvement, promote their team-building skills, leadership and competence, improves their mental health and state of mind and build motivation and focus.

Table Standing

A total 734 goals scored during the league. SOLECH Warriors won the title with 144 points and 10 points ahead of Vikas International School.
